How to Make an Elf Cookie by Emma’s Sweets
I love Christmas! And I love this little elf cookie, inspired by Sweet Sugarbelle designs.
The cutter I used is a Paisley cookie cutter from Sweet Sugarbelle
What you will need:
Royal Icing – you can read on royal icing consistencies on my website here:
Red Royal Icing in flood consistency
Ivory Royal Icing in flood consistency for the face and medium consistency for the nose
Black Royal icing in medium consistency for the eyes
White royal icing in medium consistency for all details
Green Royal Icing- stiff consistency for the leaves.
Tip 352 wilton for the leaves… you can watch my video here on how to make leaves:
I used Americolor White Soft White Gel Food Colour to airbrush the stripes
Red edible food pen for the mouth :
Scribe tool to evenly distribute the icing:
Tipless Piping Bags:
I allowed the cookie to dry in font of a cool fan in between each section. Just long enough for them to crust over. However, I allowed the cookie to dry for a few hours before I piped the eyes and nose!
