Hi. I’m Strawberry Sue and today I’m going to tell you about a delicious and nutritious smoothie that you can make in the morning for breakfast. Did you know that eight medium strawberries equal your daily requirement of vitamin C? There’s zero fat and zero cholesterol and only 50 calories in each serving. We’re going to start with a cup of ice and if you use crushed ice, it makes it easier to blend.
You need to have a cup of yogurt, vanilla yogurt. You can get sweetened or unsweetened. Then we’re going to add a little honey, about three tablespoons or so of honey. You can use Splenda if you like and the best part, strawberries. We’re going to need about a pound. This will make about four servings. I’m going to go ahead and use my hands. This is something that kids will be eating in the mornings and not even knowing it’s good for them. We’re going to also add a banana, one whole banana to about a medium size. OK, and one cup of milk. OK. So you’re going to turn it on. Crank it up.
